The basic meaning concealed in the structure of some Chinese characters often coincides with that of the structure of the corresponding English words, and sometimes even with that of the composition of some Western paintings. This interrelationship between the two can be very close. Ilya Repin's famous painting "Religious procession in Kursk province” can serve as a good example, but it would take some analytical effort before we can uncover this relationship.
