I live in a relatively cheaper southern city, the house is affordable.
However, I have been renting ever since. I pay about $1,200 for a nice 820 square feet apartment in mid city and I am 5.77 miles away from my company.
My rent is highter than my friend's $200K condo payment but I chose to live like this. Same here, I am just not ready to settle down anywhere yet.
I am here with you!
