From the story I feel:
1.In the first, H maybe want to make you and L up
2.You think you are into L, L tried and got piss off by your some actions
3.When you touch her, because the time was not ready, she thinks you are "Play boy" type, so, everything is stop now...
4.Who believes you that you are not playboy type...

Anyway, if you want to date L, do more things as below:

1.Give email in a while, just talk some interesting thing, not mention date
2.In her special day, mail some gifts to show you like her

If it still not work, move on. She is not interested to you at all...

I understood L very much...
