我该如何做？

今天很晚回到家中，邮箱里有一封我的一个美国女友的email. 我们平时关系很好，常常hang out together. 信中特指中国产品，不知她是有意还是无意（这封信写给她的许多朋友，我是其中之一）。我觉得很hurt。而且觉得她有失公允。匆忙间写了封回信，尚未寄出。我很犹豫，因为是好朋友，她平时为人也确实不错。 这封回信出去肯定会伤害我们的友谊。但是我是实话实说，痛恨她的偏狭和愚昧。更不理解她口口声声称自己为Christan,不间歇的参加各种bible study and church activities, 却在信中煽动仇恨。我很伤心也不理解。下面是她的信和我在失望+愤怒中的匆匆回信，写完后还没有check,贴上来想听听大家怎么说。怎样才能表明我的态度而不伤友情？两难中。
朋友的信：
I'm going to start watching these things. I think it is time we all
did.. So, please read and do a little checking yourself.

Friends....In our current economic situation, every little thing we
buy or do affects someone else and perhaps even
their job. So after reading this email, I think this lady is on the
right track. In fact, I looked at our Aldi store brand lite maple
syrup this morning and, sure enough, made in the USA !

This may seem like a funny email, but I was so surprised by what I
discovered I had to share it with you. When I think of the job
situation in this country, I can't help but think this helps in some
small way.. I don't know how many households there are in the US
but, if these were the only things we bought, think of the impact....
This past weekend, I was at Kroger store. I needed 60W light bulbs
and Bounce dryer sheets. I was in the light bulb aisle, and right
next to the GE brand I normally buy was an off-brand labeled
"Everyday Value". I picked up both types of bulbs and compared the
stats - they were the same except for the price.. The GE bulbs were
more money than the Everyday Value brand, but the thing that
surprised me was the fact that GE was made in MEXICO and the
Everyday Value brand was made in - get ready for this - the USA.
So, throw out the myth that you cannot find products you use every
day that are made right here - from a company in Cleveland OH!
Then, on to another aisle: Bounce Dryer Sheets....yep you guessed
it, Bounce was more money and made in Canada. The Everyday Value
brand was less money and MADE IN THE USA! I did laundry yesterday,
and the dryer sheets performed just like the Bounce Free that I have
been using for years, at almost half the price!
My challenge to you is to start reading the labels when you shop for
everyday things and see what you can find that is made in the USA -
the job you save may be your own or your neighbor's!
If you accept the challenge, pass this on to others in your address
book so we can all start buying American, one light bulb at a time
:-) Besides, you might save a little green in the process.
Stop buying the crap from China, with it's recalls, poisons, and
inferior quality. We should have awakened a decade ago! Let's get
with the program & help our fellow Americans keep their jobs and
create more jobs here in the USA!

Did you write it yourself or you just forwarded it? It is very offending and does not sounds like a Christan which you claimed of yourself! I also hope you learn a little bit of how economy works or take some courses. It is a world economy, like or not. You can not help American by just buying America. You know GE is an American company and their foreign functions and operations also helps US economy. Stop buying from any companies that have foreign subsidiaries WILL NOT help America! As a matter of fact, it is more than not that it is the foreign money that helps your family. Your ex-hu*****and works for companies that has foreign operations. And as you know they made profit out of foreign subsidiaries which helped US economy and helped your family directly since you do not work and he pays you alimony.
China does make poor quality products and people act very unethically in the business world. This is human greedy out of the taste of new free economy. I definitely feel same of those people. But to call products made in China craps, it is an insult. You know we also have recalls from automotive to peanut butter to meat, milk...just about everything!
I could not believe you still do not have this figure out: you think all American are stupid to buy foreign made products just to kill US economy or you think that they are forced to do so with guns pointed to their heads? You buy the 'Everyday Value' is because they are cheaper that the ones made in Mexico! If US made products are of good quality and cheap than foreign made products, guess what, Laura Thomson does not have to show her patriotism and change people to buy US goods. Simple, PEOPLE WILL BUY THEM. ALSO SIMPLE, THIS IS HOW FREE ECONOMY WORKS which is the nature of US economy.
You may have a good intention to start but arrived at a wrong and ignorant conclusion. Let me assure you one more time: Americans, politicians, businesses or consumers alike, they are not stupid. They would if they could stop buying foreign products or establishing foreign subsidiaries. What they could not combat is the Invincible force of free economy. By sending this message you stir hatred and misunderstanding rather than love and corporation with people all over the world to reach a more stabled world economy which will eventually benefit US economy too. I am not a devoted Christan like you but I still may humbly ask you to pray to God about this message you are sending and maybe HE will enlighten you.
