She didn't say anything wrong. The US economy needs manufacturing jobs. Whether it should be toys and household items is up for debate. but no manufacturing is very unhealthy. I don't think she's stiring hatred against China or any other country, much less their people. She simply feels if we all buy "made in USA" it'd help Americans with jobs. And that's true.

Paul Krugman summed up the US/China trade deficit quite simply - They give us poisonous products, we give them worthless paper. China is hardly the winner.

The global corporations are largely to blame for the product defects, not the Chinese workers. They too are victims in this.
