lesson -- no more asking him what he wants. Last year I bought him a couple of cashmere sweaters -- guess what happened? -- He put all his laundry in the washer and dryer without even looking! Needless to say, that was also money wasted.

And last year he bought me a pair of diamond earrings on line; of course the same earrings cost less than half of the price at the local department store or even the jewelry store. He is totally hopeless!
