该不该退出合同吗？

简单说说前因后果，最近买房屋保险时得知卖家有过一次water damage. 他们说是挂

画时订到了水管，花费了近一万四修了。刚联系了mold inspection，卖家确不允

许我们作mold inspection了因为过了14天的期限.但是最终提供了itemized 修理收据。房子一楼dinning 

room, family room and office 是地毯，其它是木地板。修的包括Foyer 的一面drywall和

一楼所有的硬木地板都换了，但是没有换地毯。另外厨房的lower (base) units cabinetry-

Detach & Reset.我的疑问是水肯定也会搞湿地毯，会不会地毯底下的floor会有问

题，如mold。如果真有问题修理会多少钱？地毯面积应该700多平方尺?一楼房子floor 

plan 如下。该做的都做了，推出合同除了损失定金以外，不知会不会被告。卖家sale 

by owner 11月离开本州。
