There is a lot of mystery surrounding George Clooney's fiance Amal Alamuddin. Yes, we know she's gorgeous. We know she's smart (she's a top lawyer after all). According to Us Weekly, as soon as their daughter became engaged, Ramzi and Baria Alamuddin got involved in the planning. They are "old-fashioned when it comes to these things," a source told the magazine.

They clearly want to make sure the day is not only special for their daughter, but also for their family. Like the couple, they were anxious for the wedding to take place this fall. AND they are paying for the entire event.



Surely, that's no small number. Everything from the flowers to the foie gras will likely be top of the line for their black-tie nuptials scheduled be held in Venice, Italy on September 27. "It's all very classy," the insider said of the details.

And it appears that George is loving every minute of it. During a recent speech, he said, "I would just like to say to my bride-to-be, Amal, that I love you very much. And I can't wait to be your husband."

This all says so much about their relationship. Most celeb weddings come off as a big, splashy, PR event. But it's clear that George and Amal are striving for a deeper connection on that day, which is especially evident given the fact her parents are so hands-on.
