美国，一个美丽的国家,
你二百四十五年的历史，
与拥有五千年文化的文明古国相比，
实在是太年轻了。可是，那又有何妨？
因为年轻 你无所畏惧 勇于探险；
因为年轻 你无迂腐偏见 以惊人的速度发展向前
你依旧是地球上最伟大的国家，
成千上万人日夜梦想抵达的国土。
依旧是一个择优而授，公平竞争的乐土, 那里
一个身揣$275美元抵达美国的中国女孩儿，
可以仅凭成绩接受免学费教育，最终成为终身教授
无需加入党派 学习语录 或使用人脉 贿赂 谋得职业晋升
作为一个美国人，我们已经中了人生彩票的头奖，
成为世界上最幸运的4.5%人口（3.3亿人）之一；
作为一名美籍华人， 我们两次中了头奖 ——
我们生活在这片可以自由呼吸的美丽国土上，
自豪地观看祖先发明的烟花，同时享受
艺术般优美的汉语，多彩深厚的中国文化
生日快乐，亲爱的美国，感谢你！
愿上帝保佑你永远富足，安康，强大！

America, a beautiful country,
Your two hundred and forty-five years of history，
Compared with an ancient civilization with five thousand years of culture，
It's really too young. However, what does it matter?
Because you are young, you are fearless and adventurous；
Because you are young, you have no pedantic prejudice and baggage,
Which allows you to advance and develop at astonishing speed.
You are still the greatest country on earth，
The land where thousands of people dream of arriving day and night.
You are still a paradise for fair competition based on merit, where
A Chinese girl who arrived in the U.S. with $275 in her pocket,
Could receive tuition-free education only based on her grades alone, and
Eventually become a tenured professor.
No need to join party, study quotes, or use connections, bribery
to get career advancements and promotions
As an American, we have won the jackpot in the life lottery,
Become one of the luckiest 4.5% population (330 million people) in the world;
As a Chinese American, we have won the jackpot twice ——
We live in this beautiful land where we can breathe freely,
Proudly watch the fireworks invented by our ancestors, and meanwhile
Enjoy artistically beautiful Chinese language, and rich, colorful Chinese culture.

今天我特意跑了7.4迈，以此来庆祝美国国庆节，July 4th celebration，a runner's style, 与你们分享些照片～～
这个湖由两个小湖组成，我要把两个湖都沿湖跑一圈，就是7.4迈。很美的湖，I pretty much "live" on this lake all year round, 深知其四季的美。
这个池塘总让我想起那句“天光云影共徘徊”，曾经有两只天鹅生活在这里，后来就剩一只了，后来那一只也不见了。Hope for more swans coming.
看见一只猫在捕捉小鸟儿
今天开始得晚了些，天气比较热，八十多度，可以看到我汗湿的上衫
一路沿途有不少桑树，我经常摘几颗紫色的吃，很甜美，吃完有一种像原始人的快乐感觉, hunting, running, sweating, and eating berries, as our ancestors did ：）
今天因为天气热，比平时慢了些，无所谓，一万七千步。脖子上的汗珠清晰可见，胳膊上闪烁的汗跑完后成了沙粒状的盐粒，我跑马之前真不知道身体里存有那么多的盐 ：）
跑了一个夏天，终算有了小麦肤色的腿，欧耶！：）
国庆节不能不吃烧烤。Famous Dave barbecue feast, finger licking good! I love their barbecue chicken, burned ends, and corn muffin, yummy : )
Now I am watching NBC live performance and firework.
