老逸也很厉害。但好像他的水平被他对别人（包括一些英文大师们，如给大师们的翻译打分）的批评掩盖了不少。他写的小说我没读过几页。但他的英诗我倒读过几首。写的很不错。他写的长诗Mishap, the test of love, 和十四行诗To spring很见功底。一看就是懂得英诗的meter. 但他把他的＂原文怎么说就怎么译＂推入实践时，我感到是＂信＂以为真，我不敢苟同。
