I never hide to anyone that I was a single mom and I do have lots of friends, male and female. I feel so lucky that I can raise my kids in the United States since the society pressure is much less here. Talking abut “寡妇门前是非多” and 你立马成为所有女人的公敌, I think it depends on how you handle it: always respect the wives and set up boundary with their hu*****ands. For example, if you need some help, ask their wives’ opinion. I believe if you open your heart to others and show your sincerity, you will gain trusty from other women. Everyone likes to make friends with someone who is positive, confident and happy. But if  he or she keeps distance to you just because you are a divorce woman, would you rather to make friends with those people?


By the way, I found out people who were born after 70’s are more generous to divorced people. Hehe…
