had picked a wrong person and made a mistake. If you can be financially independent then why you can't be mentally independent. I believe that we always can make a good change in our life no matter how old we are. However, if you are afraid of change, then you will never have a chance to find a better marriage and happy life of your own. No one can help you, except yourself.
I understand your hu*****and's choice. He clearly knows what he wants in his life. He wants to pass his property to his child in the future. He is a loving father to his child, but he doesn't care about your feelings since the beginning. Either you accept the fact that you totally give up your dream of life, or you make changes.
