Instead of asking what he wants of you, you should think: do I like him and see him as a potential good partner? I'm not sure from what you said that you like him that much. (I can't resist someone whom I like very much to kiss me, but that's just me.) If not, then why go out with him. If you do, then let him know what your expectations are and see if he respects that and develops the relationship slowly as you want. From what you said, he might also think that you lead him on and play hard to get. If you want to flirt then flirt, but don't play the guessing games. My 2 cents.
