Go to a night club by myself?

When I read yesterday some sisters talked about how we wasted our youth on watching revolutionary movies, (now we are in our 30s and 40s and looking,) I suddenly have this idea of going to a night club by myself. But I never been to any before, and I would probably look like a scared old girl from another country from others’ eyes. :(

And I remember the other day when talked on the phone with a man from online dating, he said people go to night clubs/bars to pick someone to go home with. I am sure I don’t let that happen.

Have you had any experience on this? Or you go with girlfriends? (I don’t have any either. Sigh.) Do you believe it is an adventure to meet decent people?
