i think, by law, the widow(either husband or wife)

would get the house, and be entitled to obtain half of his/her social security. If the one who pass away didn't state how to divide his/her 401K, saving and assets, then the spouse would inherit them by default.

Just like your hu*****and, I took care of my hu*****and financially, in the first few months of our marriage. Because he lost his job as a principle engineer, and he has two sons to support as well.

My hu*****and and i have about the same amount of assets for right now. I haven't written my will yet. Most likely, my hu*****and would live longer than me. (he is only 2 years older than me, and all his family members have live to a long life) so, more likely, he will be a benefiter.

I don't think of this kind of things for right now, that is too far away from me...
