安安吃了不少清蒸鱼，一点青菜和米饭? He is only 8 month old. Vow. How did you make 安安 eat these food? Any tips please?

My second son (also named as 安安) is 9 month old. He is still 80% breastfeeding. It is still a struggle to get him eat any solid baby food. To be honest, baby food is tasteless because it has no salt and no sugar. I read somewhere saying that babies should not eat salt/sugar until one year old. Is it true?
