对美国人很了解" - This is the reason why I 抓着你不放. Yes many MM 不苟姐姐的做法, but you are not only lack of sympathy, you are unkind, you think the worst of the others!

My sister doesn't need your 同情. You just save some of the unkind words to yourself.

As far as 离婚 goes, it can happen me, my sister, Dr Phil, and everybody else, including you! That's why I tell you better don't think you are superior.
