Somehow their sensor of alcohol connected to their happiness center in brain. Irish people is the worst case. I know a woman co-worker has some Irish heritage, and she ofter mentioned that she suffered so much pain to get rid of the drinking habit.
Chinese people's nerve is wired differently. There is almost no connection between the alcohol sensor to the brain. I cannot drink, so I feel suffering after two ounces of wine before sleep. My wife can drink half a bottle of vodka without any effect, as long as the stomach is not empty. But she does not feel any happiness, nor sadness out of the alcohol.
