Among my friends, wifes earns more than husbands is normal

I don't see much problem. I came from Sichuan, most of my close friends are from Sichuan. Sichuan girls are tough, work very hard. Hu*****ands shares housework. The interesting part is that hu*****ands usually take care of kids, may be because they are not at cooking. But this makes them have a closer relationship with their kids than some other dads.
