I guess you must feel proud of being able to comfortably input Chinese characters from your home computer, probably with a cup of aromatic coffee in your hand.
Just like you, I live and work in Canada, and I am a Canadian citizen too. But unlike you, I identify myself as a Canadian, because I have strong socio-economic connections with (and only with) Canada. I love this country which I call home, and I will be buried in this land after I die.
Isn't that what we ALL signed up for?
Or do you secretly pay taxes to China?
As an individual person, I should not get into this kind of meaningless debate, as there are many more important things going on in my life, even at this very moment. But I just feel obligated to express briefly what I believe is also the voice of many other people.
I'm using a public computer, so I can't input Chinese.
