He is not your ideal person for marriage. He is a minimal guy.

I mean just fair. For marraige you need to feel the guy doing special things for you. So dating is ok to gain experience or enjoy but if not for marriage donot move in. Too many trouble sounds like you are too nice compare to him.

ex. even if you say you don't need anything however he will still do special things for you at least same amount as you spend as a common sense. So if you feel being with him is not a good deal for you any way. He is not a longterm partner which you can counting on him. I am not saying he has to make more money than you just how he treat you.
