有没有人去看过Hollywood的新片"Australia"?

星期五晚， 我和我女儿去看了"Australia"。 那电影讲的是一个爱情故事，但主线是"stolen generation"- 一个土著和白人私生子被迫害的故事。

电影的男主角是大帅哥(brandon Walters)，女主角是大美女(Nicole Kidman). 电影也是在澳大利亚拍的, 很好看， 充满了异国风情， 但我和我女儿看完后都有点郁闷。 我问我女儿对那电影的看法。她说她最不喜欢这电影里对一个中国角色的塑造。

在电影中，那中国男子是女主角的仆人， 他样子长得很难看， 很萎缩。 说英文带着很重的口音，应该是电影里的一个笑料。

我女儿说Hollywood对中国人的塑造还停留在六十年代的刻板形象。 我也深有同感.
