greencard processing time

I send my GC application (change status) the last week of October. I was notified to get fingerprint this week. How long does it take after that? I also apply for Advance Parole same time since I plan to visit China with him during chinese new year. I guess some JM here go through this process before. Anybody share information with me? The timing issue is important because I called agent to book ticket earlier. The ticket is reasonable recently. The ticket is about 800. The only bad thing is that I could not take him to Beijin. It will be frozen by then.
