I think it really depends on the type of person you deal with. I feel so blessed to meet a great guy during school. We have plenty of time to know each other and to introduce each other to the families.

Some women are not that lucky, unfortunately.I get the feeling that they really rush to altar without spending enough time to build a healthy relationship. Some of them get married in just a couple of weeks after they met. Some mail-order brides barely spend any time with their future spouse, before they finalize all the paper works and move oversea. On top of that, they can't communicate with each other. Some of them even take a translator when they see each other. I personally don't think things can work out that way.

Maybe that is just me. For some people, it is not a big deal. A two-week courtship might work out perfectly for someone and they are happily married like in the movies. Good for them !
