Mid-Year Recap
Team,
We’re now a little more than half way through 2020, a year many of us can’t wait to be over. Covid has brought significant changes, challenges, and disruptions to our personal and professional lives as well. XXX has certainly not been immune to everything that’s been going on.
Our sales volume over the last 12 months have been essentially flat and, while this may sound funny, that’s something we’re very thankful for. Although March, April, and May presented exceptional challenges to XXX and our customers and vendors as well, we are proud of the extra effort and hard work that allowed us to stay open and serve our customers; the things that make XXX a success all year long.

Although many businesses were not as fortunate as restrictions and economic uncertainty took their toll, XXX will again have merit increases although they may be modest compared to previous years. Payroll for July 30 will reflect your new rate as well as a separate entry (under “other”) that will catch everyone up for hours worked since July 1. Our managers and team leads will be scheduling compensation reviews this week and next to go over everyone’s specific situation.
While we don’t know what the 2nd half of 2020 will bring, XXX remains strongly committed to your success and that of our customers and vendors as well.
