悲情的俄罗斯民族

去年读了a gentleman in Moscow，作者借书中角色之口，从名画的角度解读欧美不同民族的某些东西。

法国人有以法国7月革命为主题的Liberty leading the people, 荷兰人有以保护公民为主题的Night watch, 美国人有以美国独立战争为主题的Washington crossing the  Delaware, 无一不是领袖们服务公民，保护公民，骨子里的精神都是平等，是自由。

俄国人有什么呢？两幅名画，Peter the great interrogating Alexei, Ivan the terrible and his son. 这两幅俄国人最得意的画，都是沙皇和儿子之间的杀戮。君君臣臣 父父子子。君要臣死，臣不得不死。

俄罗斯民族是个悲情的民族，近代的大清洗，大饥荒，都是生灵涂炭，以百万为单位。往远里说，除了彼得大帝时代，其他时间段则是欧洲最穷的国家，苦寒之地，地广人稀。

可比如说农奴时代，农奴们白天逆来顺受，晚上喝醉了打老婆，欺负自己人。难道俄罗斯人就只有豺狼和绵羊吗？
历史为什么总是重复自己？俄罗斯民族为什么就这样一代代悲情下去？
