The birth of Venus -- 周末放松一下，文艺复兴时代的名画

 

 

最近在和孩子一起读艺术书， 前天晚上读到Venus的雕塑，妈妈很好奇，便独自读了读这个女神的身世。原来这是个古罗马神话中的女神，不是古希腊女神。

文艺复兴时代的意大利名画“the birth of Venus”， 描绘的是Venus的出生。

她由海中泡沫而生， 踏在巨大的贝壳上，画中左边的风神要把她吹到岸上，右边她的侍女春神展开花袍，一旦上岸，便给她披上。 

真是瑰丽的想像。 妈妈再读了一些Venus上岸后的神话故事，古人很多智慧，故事里都是隐喻。 我想， 水本身就是非常柔软和感性，所以她应海水而生。 上岸后的神话故事里让我读出来的更是古人对feminie beauty的领悟。 

这幅画没有被收入我们正在读的书中，但对后世的艺术家们影响巨大。 我这样的外行也觉得从没有见过比这更美的Canvas Painting
