i think you should suggest to a more expensive

restaurant next time and to see how he reacts. If he make you pay, then maybe he's not for you. One time I went out with a Indian guy for the second time, and we went to a dinner and costed about $160, I paid the dinner, and he commented, "that's why I don't date a secretary". Maybe he was trying to compliment, but I said good bye to him after that dinner. Many guys are so concerned about girls being too high of maintainese. But for me, I wouldn't date a guy who's not even willing to pay for a meal. It's not the matter of money issue.
