My husband never dated Chinese girls before me

I do not think that he can say he loves Chinese women because "Blah blah...." Just it happened that I am a Chinese. But although like most of Americans he does not too much about China but he respects my mother country and culture. I think regardless races and nationalities, it is the personality and shared value that matters in a crosscultural relationship. Good luck to you!
