I can tell you "其实我觉得嫁老外也好，嫁老中也好，婚姻还不是一样的过日子" is a beautiful lie. Given exactly the same conditions, these Chinese women will choose Americans and foreigners, they will be simply more satisfied that way. Believe it or not, that satisaction is very important in maintaining marriage...

In fact, this is very understandable, because women live for other people, they don't live for themselves. Their satisfaction of life come from how other people perceive about them.

Then why do our women favor American and white men? And if you read the post from "DellComputer", you will see she favors HAIRY men with hairs all over their places... (Those monkeys in the zoo will chuckle when they read this) How did these women begin associating "sexy" symbols with HAIRY men?

It is completely due to the fact that the image of the Chinese people and men has been distorted and the image of the westerners and white men has been aggrandized. Even the Koreans can build a very positive image in Chinese women's brain and make them rate Korean men as their dream hubbies or lovers. This testifies a long time observation I've had for women -- they don't have stable images about themselves, their cultures, and their countries... They don't have as strong a tie to their home-culture and homeland than men do. Their images are highly susceptible to compliance manipulations. This, sadly, holds more for Chinese women given their social status and social-psychological feelings.

Hence my conclusion is: unless our Chinese men realize the situation and start taking solid steps in building constructing a positive image about ourselves, our culture and our great China, these women will be flowing out like water without any hesitance. The good news is that it does not take great pains in building positive images, as the Koreans have already demonstrated.
