My parents used fo fight each other often.  It was not surprising that when my sister and I came home and find blood splattered on our wall. 
They each were very devoted to their original family as a result and as a trigger to their fights.  I guess they hated each other, hated their marriage and hated the result of their marriage --kids.


But when they mistreated my sister and me, they always had a united front.
