1) when she said 'Go Dutch', he should have insisted on paying for her.
2) Even if he agreed to split the bill, he should have paid the tip.
3) Even if he did none of above, just to be fair, he should have offered her the change, as a joke even.
so.. he really failed. AND he's a lousy tipper -- bad bad!
