鸽子， 我最近在读哈代的远离尘嚣。 里面有一句这样的话：

We learn that it is not the rays bodies absorb, but those they reject, that give them the colours they are known by; and in the same way people are specialized by their dislikes and antagonisms, whilst their goodwill is looked upon as no attribute at all.

你看到她们对你的反对了， 但不要就把这个看成是她们的全部，或是主要部分。 共勉啊。

我刚看完Jane Austen 的Emma。 好厚的一本。相对哈代的书， Jane 的要容易读得多。哈代描写景色和周围的环境简直是绝了。特注重细节。
