blue collar v. white collar

I am not sure why, but from my observation: blue collar men seem to be more generous than whlte collor men.
Of course, many blue-collar men earn more than white collar men in this country. 
Most of the Chinese women here are very well-educated, so they try to find white collar men.  But then some of them are very calculating and disappointing.
