If you keep thinking about this

then maybe you can get back with him for now.  The problems between the two of you will escalate at some point.  For example, ask him what financial plans he has for both of you. 
when you are really disappointed with him, you will get over him.
If you are obsessed about him now, go for it.  Otherwise for hte rest of your life you will be thinking about him.
