He didnt think it is the time to commit with you yet. Maybe he had bad experience before.I wouldnt return the gift card. It is a xmas gift. Consider you only know each other for 3 months 100 Gift card is generous. But dont overlook his other shortcomings. You are also looking for a step dad for your child. So you got to be with someone who treats you better than you treat them.Returning gift card wouldnt make him think high of you and come to see you more. He would just think you are weird. I would also keep looking for the right person.
