vest2005

I spend 70 hours a week on work. 60% of my income goes to various taxes.

Often I think I leave less money for retirement compared to a teacher, who gets pension and works less than 30 hours a week. 

Considering effort-reward, I think most wall street jobs are not ideal for long term. 

It is hard that I can not just cut half of my compensation and work 50% of the time, because of job requirement.

It is sad that the biggest expenditure are taxes and various expenses incurred because of the working hours and travel.
