What does she mean?

My hubby was invited having lunch with a Chinese lady, who is the representative of a Chinese company. That Chinese company is going to have a joint venture company with a canadian company. My hu*****and does not work for this Canadian company directly, but provides some consulting service. Anyway, that lady brought another Chinese young man for lunch with my hu*****and. She met my hu*****and through company's meeting and knows that my hu*****and is not an employee of the Canadian company, he is rather a consultant.During the lunch, she whisperd to my hu*****and" could you introduce a young girl to this Chinese guy", the guy heard it and immediately respond" I am married". My hubby was confused by what she did and ask me the hidden meaning of such behavior. I have no idea at all, so come here to ask you guys, who are really smart. Additional info. The Chinese. Company is trying to establish the joint venture with local Canadian company. During the lunch, she talked a lot about that Chinese state company does not understand western's way to do business although it is quite big company in china with quite few branches in different country. My hu*****and saiid to me" as a Chinese, she knows better than me to handle with the state company. I don't understand her game."
