i don't think Deng can do the job well without Zhang's assistanc

Plus it will hurt Deng's image because it looks like she "dumped" Zhang when Zhang was in hot water.

Deng should wait if this were her decision but i doubt it was. Zhang might be the one who refused to compromise and withdrew totally.

Zhang's definitely got guts. Should would make a very good "Miss Jiang" (jiang jie).
