the bottom line is, don't count on spousal support.

it doesn't matter what the court thinks. the bottom line is, even if you are out of job, you are better off relying on severance package and unemployment benefit than him. don't count on spousal support. your best bet now is to take as much money out of your joint account (or borrow on your joint credit card) to spend on your kid (prepay his future expensese, put in education fund).
think for your child, how to negotiate the expenses for your kids. for your investment on him, just considered it as all gone. at least it's better than that he's dead that he still pays a little for the kid.
