Yes, he was deployed last year for 6 months. I was feeling very depressed. Fortunately I had help from both my church and the military. But we still hate it. We hope it won't happen again. But you never know.

Since we moved to Texas, I haven't met any Chinese in person yet. That's why I spent more time on the internet. But I don't have a problem with this at all. Like I said before, I have met some very nice friends from the churches I go to. And I don't have problems making new friends. Of course they are all Americans.
