I am my ex's friend too, but I don't mess up with him

about money. Money issue is a clear cut, if you don't have money, u better tell you ex that you don't have it rather than mess around. Even if he is your ex, you don't have any obligation to borrow money for him. I won't borrow money for my closest friend.
