I think Pinyin is sort of accepted in English, but I don't know if mixing of Latin and English in a SINGLE name is ok or not.
Like in Canada, there is a place called Nova Scotia which is total Latin. If you call it Nova Scotland or New Scotia, is it a bit strange? Should it be straight away called New Scotland in English?
Just my thought. Open for debating.
