请教一个语调的问题

请仔细这句新概念朗读用的语调，“sang songs”，“drank the beer”，这种语调我们内部称之为“新概念语调”。

请问这种语调为什么要把动词轻读，而后面的名词重读呢？这种语调在平时生活中见到得多吗？
