ravine不是个生僻的词。我们常说rolling hills, deep ravines, thick woods，and something something 。。。

rolling ravine 有头韵的美感，跟前面的３ 的头音搭配很好（但一点点美中不足的是ravine的重音在后面）
还有，valley更接近老元的＂起伏的山壑＂的本意，虽然ravine也有valley的意思，但ravine更强调deep， narrow or steep-sided方面。所以我们长说：deep ravines。
