correction

In the morning of a mid-May day in N.Y., after an hour driving on the state express way, I glimpsed at the dashboard which showed 8:20 and was happy to have enough time to get to the office. Although the city looked so beautiful today, I wasn’t in a mood to enjoy the warm weather and gentle breeze, since I had to make sure to get to there at 9:00. Paying all my attention at the traffic in the rush hour, which was in a bumper-to-bumper situation, like a parking lot, I tried to avoid being cut off. Finally, I got into a parking lot and parked my car. After I bought a newspaper at a stand, I walked fast to enter the subway and went to Line 3, the busiest route in the city.
