请帮忙润色一封推荐信

俺娃的钢琴老师是一位瘦小的年轻人。虽然年轻但学究气的很，一丝不苟的，我们对他还算满意，他和我娃也对眼。他在找工作，请我写封推荐信。找我的原因可能是逢年过节我都会送他一个gift bag，里面必定有一张thanks card，洋洋洒洒写上一些好话。靠教琴为生不容易，我是真心想帮这孩子一把。

我网上看了几个sample，凑了这篇。我写东西一向四平八稳，毫无文采。请大家帮忙再润色一下，看着再文化一点，读着再拽一点。谢谢！

To Whom It May Concern,

This letter is to serve as our formal recommendation for Ben Smith. We have had the distinct pleasure of having Ben as the piano instructor for our son Jerry for a year. We found him to be extremely competent and always pleasant.

There are many competent piano instructors available; what sets Ben apart is his attitude toward music and his students. We could tell from our initial acquaintance that Ben has an intrinsic love of playing the piano. He constantly looks for opportunities to enhance and enrich himself. His passion for music is expressed in his teaching. He sets higher standards for his students and inspires them to achieve more. The reason he is able to successfully do so is he takes the time and thought to understand each of his students.

Using our son Jerry as an example, Ben always pushes Jerry to somewhere near his limit, in regard to attention and ability. He understands Jerry's potential and limitations, and he carefully adapts his teaching style to maximize this potential. It is like squeezing a sponge: he squeezes most of it, but leaves just enough to prevent the student from drying out.

Ben communicates well with his students. He encourages students' equality and initiation in the learning process. He keeps them focused, keeps them interested, and keeps them coming back and wanting more.

Ben also impressed us by his ability to maximize the use of his teaching time. There isn't a minute that goes to waste. He always knows what was reviewed in the last lesson and what needs to be accomplished in the current lesson. In other words, he diligently keeps track of his students' weekly progress.

Under Ben's supervision, Jerry had been improving steadily, and the best thing is that Jerry has never found playing piano boring under Ben's instruction.

We sincerely recommend Ben for this position. If you have any questions regarding Ben or this recommendation, please don't hesitant to contact us.
