For five thousand years, the civilization has been uninterrupted and contributed not only by the descendants of Emperors Yan and Huang but also many foreigners who admired the Chinese culture. Ever since the Qin and Han dynasties, the Chinese culture has been spread all over the world by foreigners like envoys from Japan, Korea and merchants from overseas in the Yuan and Song dynasties.
