Stepping out of the Golden Arches, my sixth sense gave me a heads-up.
On a dime, heaven took off its sunny-side-up mask.
"Go ahead and rain something on me!" I stood up to the dark clouds above.
"But don't rain manma on me, manma that I neither desire nor deserve."
"Rain humble pies on me instead, humble pies that I don't desire but I do deserve."
"Hold it. Why do I keep saying me me me?"
"Because I am a New Yorker?"
