Orchid in the Valley

An orchid blooms by the spring in a valley of deep mountains
It enjoys listening to the mountain breeze, bird singing, and sound of streams
Feels the valley’s trembling and joy at the moments
When the Sun and the Moon arise
Once attracted by the noise and cooking smoke from the village
The orchid appeared timidly in their courtyard
It tried hard to show its color and emit fragrance
Opened its small petals to convey goodwill and kindness
However, the smoke and fire in the dusty world blurred people's eyesights
The purity and focus in the way the orchid looked up to the sky and waited for the rain
Made them perplexed, jealous, even full of hatred
The villagers called it wild flower, banshee grass...
The orchid gave a slight smile, and retreated to the valley, free and unfettered ever since
With Godsend beauty, why does it need earthy hearts to understand it ——
If the orchid itself knows and is happy because of it
If the butterfly knows, and flies around the orchid by the spring in the valley

【空谷幽兰】

一株兰花静放在深山僻谷泉边
它喜欢倾听山风 水流 鸟鸣
感受太阳与月亮升起时
整个山谷在那一瞬间的颤栗 欣喜
它也曾被村庄的炊烟喧嚷所吸引
怯生生地出现在他们的庭院
极力展示自己的颜色与花香
以小小的花瓣 努力向人们绽放善意
可是 尘世的烟熏火燎使人双眼迷蒙
兰望着天空 期待雨落的专注与纯净
使饱经风雨的他们困惑 妒忌 甚至憎恶
村民们称它为野花 妖草。。。
兰花淡然一笑，从此遁入空谷, 自在逍遥。
天赐美好 何需尘心理解 知晓 ——
如果 兰心自知 并因此快乐着
如果 有蝶识香 山谷泉边，绕兰翩飞
